Pharmacy Technician program

The Pharmacy Technician program is designed to prepare individuals to support pharmacists by performing a wide range of practice-related duties for retail, hospital, long-term care, and other pharmacy settings. Students will learn how to recognize the top medications, classifications, DEA schedules, how to fill prescriptions for patients, and prepare IV and unit-dose medications. The program includes student participation in a 180-hour clinical pharmacy externship.

  1. Verify you meet program Admissions Requirements
  2. Complete the Davis Tech Admissions process:
  3. Meet with an Enrollment Technician in Student Services and obtain the Pharmacy Technician Program Application
  4. Complete New Student Orientation
  5. Complete and submit the Pharmacy Technician Program Application to Student Services during the corresponding application cycle, between 8:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.
  6. If accepted, begin class
