- Purpose
- The US Department of Education requires schools to determine the cost of attending the institution. The five main components are tuition and fees, books and supplies, room and board, transportation, and miscellaneous personal expenses. These costs are used to establish the student budget that is used in packaging and offers of Title IV funds.
