First Time Login

After you have receive your official acceptance email from Davis Technical College, you will have the ability to access your school accounts. When you have that email, you may complete your account set-up steps below.

• Login to the Student Portal:
  • Username: Your username is your Student ID, followed by '@davistech.edu' (example: 4800123456@davistech.edu)
  • Password: Your first-time password is a combination of: Your birthdate (formatted YYYYMMDD), first letter of your first name (capitalized), first letter of your last name (capitalized). Example for John Doe, born May 2, 1999: 19990502JD
  • Change your password at Password Manager (optional, but strongly recommended)

Davis Tech uses a single sign-on system so students only need one username and password for systems access. Your username and password will provide access to:

• Sign-in to campus computers
• Wi-Fi access (eduroam)
• Student Portal
• Canvas
• Microsoft Office license (consists of the entire Office 365 Suite, including an Outlook Email, and 1TB of OneDrive cloud storage)
• Adobe Creative Cloud license
• CAE LearningSpace
• VMware Horizon

Microsoft Outlook is Davis Tech's official email system. Always use your Microsoft Outlook Student Email account for email correspondance with Student Services, Fiancial Aid, and Instructors. In addition, any campus-wide notifications will be sent to this email address.
